And when home alone for a weekend, I really need to make plans with people so that I can get out of my house and fill my I NEED PEOPLE quotient.

There's a self-perpetuating cycle of suck, you see. I'm home alone; I don't want to leave the house; I need to leave the house and see people; I don't have the motivation to leave the house; I start to get depressed and twitchy; I don't want to leave the house ... and so on.

I'm a Myers-Briggs extrovert. I *need* interpersonal interaction in realspace (not the internet). Talking on the phone can be acceptable, but it's not quite the same, either. Going somewhere where there are people and being alone is the worst. It's not just being around people; it's the interaction part that's required. Talking over coffee, whatever.

Since the vast majority of my friends (both in local realspace and the internet) are M-B introverts, I'm pretty much fucked.

You're not fucked—you just have to organize more parties and get-togethers. You're good at that!

Getting the house in order for a party is a lot of work -_- I'd rather meet a handful of people for dinner & go hang out over beer or coffee afterwards. But finding people who are amenable is trickier.

I'm the opposite; I get drained by being around people and like going out by myself. I actually went alone to dinner the other night to get some "me time" before I went out with friends. That being said, if I'm in a depressed state, I won't want to be alone.

Oh yeah, I was wondering about that personality profile you mentioned earlier. Neat! I think I am ISFJ, but definitely introverted in some sense. I'm drawn to extroverts tho; I wouldn't do anything out of my comfort zone without them. :P

There are online tests you can take, but the real version is administered by trained psych professionals blah blah. I often get ESTJ on the online quizzes, but I think I fit ESFJ much better.
