Date: 2014-04-16 11:13 pm (UTC)From:There's an apartment complex that caters to grad students near the SW edge of campus, and studios were $985 a month, 1BRs $1099. Though I can't imagine it's easy to *get* an apartment anywhere near campus. These people have other complexes, too, so.
I'm definitely predisposed for a practical degree. One of the students there right now is an MA student with an interest in teaching and second language acquisition, so...

Date: 2014-04-18 12:07 am (UTC)From:And as far as apartments, etc., you've been to the DC suburbs - and all due respect, Prince George's Co. isn't nearly as upscale as Montgomery. So there are more than plenty of complexes and towers and single apartments and just people renting basements and such. Bottom line is, getting a place to live is like the least difficult thing about all of this. Especially if you basically approach it as a job that you're commuting to, just, instead of living in the suburbs, and going downtown, you're doing it the other way around.
