There's an apartment complex that caters to grad students near the SW edge of campus, and studios were $985 a month, 1BRs $1099. Though I can't imagine it's easy to *get* an apartment anywhere near campus. These people have other complexes, too, so.
I'm definitely predisposed for a practical degree. One of the students there right now is an MA student with an interest in teaching and second language acquisition, so...
