Yeah, an ep and a half of Valgrave was just about it for me. I don't really keep up with anime blogs, but it really does seem that Gargantia and Attack on Titan are the (non-shoujo) shows to watch this season. And probably the ones that'll really stick around and make an impact.
I think I'm going to keep watching Valvrave because I hate myself. If I can make it into a fun game, like figure out what's going to happen at the end of each episode and see if I can predict what's going to happen next, it could be less painful.
Or I could just say fuck all this and save 25 minutes...
I was halfway expecting Ledo to have carried an alien back to Earth with him glommed on to his mech. Or maybe he did and it's still in stasis on the ocean floor. The epic space conflict is going to have to affect Earth somehow.
Hataraku Maou sama is a cross between Saint Young Men and Kyou Kara Maou! so it should appeal to a certain demographic. It's also a welcome light-hearted show after Titan.
