Okay, that makes much more sense! I read your 20,500 words to go entry and was like, "Wait, aiming for 100k is a little high, isn't it?"

Up word count! Those couple of hundred words a day matter. (I am this close to 47k words on Skywatch.)

Well, considering the genre, I probably could get away with 100k, and if first readers think it needs more exposition on some things, or a scene showing X here or there, it could get close.

They do! I feel like I should be getting more done every day, because one scene a day is so slow and like lolly-gagging, and if I ever get contracts and shit, I won't have the luxury to dawdle so.
