Yesterday I managed to edit a scene for updated continuity, despite being very tired and generally out of it.
Today I rewrote a scene from a different POV. I got 739 words of a first draft.
They waited patiently and quietly until they reached the table. The two men who sat there had dark hair and olive skin. The one on the right had striking green eyes. Her cousin Atesh had green eyes like that. She couldn’t remember meeting him, but a portrait taken when Aunt Niloufar came to visit after Azar was born hung on her parents’ wall.
I swear, the next thing I write will have an outline, or at least a semi-detailed synopsis. I ought to try getting into the habit, because that's how you make book proposals once you have an agent.
