Only 500 words today, but I got the first two scenes edited up a bit and finished the second one. I got a start on the third scene, but my brain isn't cooperating. I don't much like completely rewriting this thing.

I'm always sad and jealous of these contests and things on writers' and agents' blogs, because they call for a completed manuscript. I don't have one. I know, I should stop grousing and work harder and get it finished. Sometimes my brain doesn't work, annoyingly. Stupid migraine.

If you ever happen to spot a contest like that for a completed YA fantasy manuscript, kick it my way? I still haven't found an agent for the unicorn book.

Miss Snark's First Victim has a monthly(ish) secret agent contest, and there are often YA-seeking agents.

Right now, the Knight Agency is having a contest (starting Tuesday), details here. It's pretty awesome, actually. I wish I were eligible!
