Biscoff are Lotus brand Speculoos. They're Belgian, and I used to buy them in France all the time. So yummy!

I am terrified of the speuculoos paste. It just seems wrong. Like Arsenic Complexion Wafers. It was not meant to be! And yeah Belgium and the Netherlands are right next door to each other, and speculoos is a Dutch word, so it's an understandable assumption. I just knew about it being Belgian because in France all the packages are clearly marked as being from Brugges, which, I guess has its own special type of speculoos.
