I don't think you're at the polar opposite politics from me. You don't seem inclined to throw humanity to the wolves and let them fend for themselves, because government intervention is always Wrong and Bad. You and I disagree on how economic structures vis a vis taxes and government interventions should look, and I think on some social issues, but you're not Patri, who *is* my polar opposite. (So much so that if I even skim his "WOO FREE MARKET!!!" posts, I start shaking with rage. So it's a good thing I only read his journal if someone else links it.)
