I finished Z-pak #2 on Friday. Wednesday I had a shift of congestion into my nose itself (like a cold, kind of), but by Friday, I felt pretty good.
Saturday midday I felt more congested, and yesterday my voice sounded all nasal, and I started coughing. Today I have congestion, my ears itch, and I'm still coughing.
My doctor's office is going to call me back and let me know if I should pick up the Z-pak refill my dr wrote last week or if we should pursue other options (like a fine needle aspirate of my sinuses to see what's growing there, or a head CT to see where the infection is based [and make sure it's not osteomyelitis or meningitis or an infection of the ocular orbit], or just a stronger antibiotic).
I don't care, really, as long as I can drink beer by October 9.
