Or at least, it's not celiac, and not an allergy to wheat, soy, corn, milk, peanuts, pork, beef, fish, eggs, or chocolate.

I've been fine the last 3 days. My GI appointment is Monday. I'll call my doctor tomorrow and ask if she thinks endo is a possibility, and if I can get a GYN referral if the GI thinks it's not a GI issue.

Hooray for no crazy dietary restrictions and not having to give up beer. Boo for no new information on what the heck's going on. *hug*

I have some laaaame dietary issues I deal with, nothing as crazy as being allergic to wheat, but it's still damn inconvenient. So I'm glad it doesn't seem to be a food issue. Here's to hoping it's something not too serious and easily manageable!

Oh! and that they figure it out soon! (It took over 5 years to figure out fibromyalgia :v I wouldn't wish that wait and worry on anyone ever)

I hear it's hard to find a doctor who even believes in fibro...

I've been thinking and wondering, and the quasi-morning-sickness nature of it points me to hormonal something, and endo fits. It even explains some other symptoms I've had for several years now.

Of course, the treatment for it is surgery.

I agree! I'd be extremely sad if I had to give up so many things I enjoy, like Hefeweizen, Belgian strong ales, Belgian whites, stouts, quadrupels...

You know how they ask when you go to the hospital how much alcohol you drink? I had to tell like 5 different people that I like drinking beer, with dinner sometimes or on movie night or at the end of a long week or ... Did you know they usually multiply whatever you tell them by two, because a lot of people understate things?

I'm going to ask the GI whether she thinks it's possible to be endometriosis (over decades) with more recent bowel involvement. Because the more I think about it, and the more I read, the more I'm inclined that way.
