I'd like to add some humor, but I don't know how well it would translate. I like the bio I put in RetroSpec, but it's a lot more specific to the story (I reference my first German book, for example) and won't work more generally.

Does it read too much like a list? Though I looked at the guest bios on the NASFIC website, and they're kinda listy, too.

I think you are in a dress-up kind of bio spot. It makes sense to be just a bit listy (which you are listy light if anything). You can be playful with your bio at other times. I think this is perfect for where you are placing it.
