-Call Visa & let them know I'm going to Europe so they don't cancel my card when there are charges in Europe
-Figure out what the BofA and SECU international ATM fees are & decide which card to take; transfer money if necessary
-Send updated contact info once I get my address
-LJ voice posting?
-Decide whether I want to take a 13-hour overnight train from Berlin to Vienna or a 2-hour plane trip. Train is less expensive, longer; flying is a pain in the ass.
-Get a haircut
-See people before I leave
-Make a packing list

-King of the Mods, 4-oz body wash
-clothes? jeans, tops, skirt?
-face wash for Ben, travel size body wash if on sale

-Anything on packing list I don't actually have on hand.

Why are Ann Taylor pants so expensive? Why are they the only store I can reliably find pants that actually fit all my measurements? :P

I don't know if they have them in Deutschland (they have some in Paris), but my BofA guy told me when I moved to London that Barclays is a BofA partner, and if you withdraw money from one of their ATMs overseas, you won't get a withdrawl fee. You'll still have a conversion fee, but that's a given. Though, you also have to let BofA know you're going and something about withdrawing from checking (because I totally went and was stuck in Wales with no access to my funds... Thank you VISA, for being EVERYWHERE!). But whatevs...

Hm, I don't recall ever seeing any Barclays in Germany, but a quick check of their ATM locator says that Deutsche Bank is a no-fee partner. Granted, that won't help in Austria or Hungary, but any time without withdrawal fees is better than none. Though there are 2 DBank ATMs in Vienna...

I learned about having to withdraw from a checking account the first time I went to Germany. The way their system is set up, ATMs only draw on checking, and savings is invisible.

But how do you protect your luggage from thievery while you're sleeping? The price difference is like 20 or 30 Euro.

(And it's a night train, so it's not like I'm going to see anything interesting.)
