I figured out what the next scene was going to be. Yay! So I opened Scrivener for half an hour and got 421 words. I could go on, but I need to get changed for work and eat lunch.
I like this getting paid thing, and I like the people I'm working with, but I really miss having time to write.
Also, also? I won the
help_haiti auction
plutokitty offered! That means I need to figure out what I want to have her draw for me. I can get 3 characters in b&w or 2 in color. I'm toying with the idea of getting the 3 POV characters together, which could be cool. But it means I have to make a couple decisions: Does Azar wear the headscarf? There's much debate on that *now*, and I'm far from qualified to judge. But since I'm using modern-day Iran as a model for her home, it's plausible that whether she wants to or not, there's a requirement to do so.
I don't want to insert my opinion on the matter (which, actually, boils down to this: it's up to the woman to decide, based on what she believes). It's tough.
OK, time for lunch and dreaming of shoes. (And, crap, I really need to send my car payment in; it was due yesterday. Why the hell can't I remember this anymore? Thankfully it's close to paid off, finally.)
ETA: I keep forgetting to link tsubaky_ny's t-shirt to benefit Oxfam: here.
