Today's word count: 899 - a whole new scene and some minor edits on an existing one. Possible gross WC of 1000.

I've also made it about halfway through All the Shah's Men, for research and planning. (I set it down to go to the bathroom, and an older man who was sitting across from me here at Caribou asked me about it when I got back. And? He asked if I was reading it for class. XD I can still pass for a college student. Go me. OK, I live in a college town. That helps.)
To kill the next 45-ish minutes before campus parking opens up, I'm going to read more ATSM.
