What's Wave do?

I have absolutely no idea. So far, it's kind of like chat, but there's got to be more to it than that. (I played with it for, like, an hour.) It's supposed to be a good collaborative tool. It seems like a combination of usenet, forums, and instant messenger.

Not yet! I wonder if I'll get them faster if I use it more frequently... it sort of overloads my desktop.
