Achievement get: Chapter 1 complete! (In first draft form; there'slikely editing still needed.) Chapter 1 is 3100 words long.
Next step: Get chapter 4 finished. (I'm working on Atesh POV right now, and chapters 2 and 3 are other characters' POV.) I've been poking chapter 4 a bit lately, and I think it's working better than it was before, but it's not quite there yet. Before I work on chapter 6, I'll need to go back to chapter 2, because there's some more Michael POV there, and he's been an elusive bugger lately.
I also have to figure out how to increase the tension in chapters 6-9, without making my crack covert mercenary team seem like n00bs. That's gonna be a tough one.
