Friends forgive me, for I have sinned. It has been too long since my last progress report. I've been writing some, but not updating here.
I hit a roadblock last week, and I couldn't get any of the new scenes to work. Fortunately, while I was driving 2 hours to work on Friday, I had a revelation as to why. And now I'm going back and fixing it. It's playing merry havoc on my word count, but that's OK. Most of the words I'm cutting are crap.
Today's word count (net): 1010
Total word count: 12366
Distance to goal: 14%
