Tomorrow I'm flying to Juneau for a National Geographic cruise. Anxiety brain is giving me all sorts of scenarios involving weather and flight delays (we have a 1-hour layover in Seattle) and missing the boat. Thanks, brain.
SEA weather has been good, and 1h is plenty of cushion for a domestic-domestic connection. (Even if you're switching airlines from not-Alaska Airlines to Alaska Airlines, which seems like the most likely combo.)
We're on delta the whole way, via ATL and SEA, and here we've got daily scattered afternoon thunderstorms. And we're on a 13:30 flight out.
An hour is the shortest layover I'm comfortable with, usually. The way back, we have like 45 minutes in either sea or slc, I forget which is short. But we're not on a deadline eastward!
