If the word counts don't seem to add up day to day, there seems to be a bug in Scrivener that randomly loses words from the tally and returns them if I scroll through the scene list. It originally said 45-something, and I thought, hey, that's not right.

I did! Hadn't thought about adding POV. That's a good idea. Right now, I'm keywording characters, places, and purpose. What do you mean by structure?

Oh, gotcha. I haven't taken on structure yet, but I have keywords for what a scene accomplishes: character development (self/relationship), plot advancement, worldbuilding, etc., plus notes to myself on whether a scene could be deleted (if it doesn't actually do anything) or needs to be expanded.
