I can't figure out if I need to register as a business to pay sales taxes. I do know some people who sell things in the state, but they're more than hobbyist-level. Wouldn't hurt to ask, anyway...
(I do know that NC doesn't make you pay monthly sales tax, just quarterly, if you consistently make under 100/mo. That I could find online.)
