Somewhere in there, President Roosevelt mentions that the LP didn't happen. I think "Diversity Bingo" is a good way to put it - a lot of the changes were interesting, but few were really adequately explained and there were so many of them that it felt like the author was just trying to shove as many into the story as possible, no matter how much sense they made or how much they added to the narrative.
