I get rid of things, but usually only when I get to the point where I can't find anything under everything else. Like, my closet is huge and full of clothes I haven't worn in 5 years and wouldn't miss if I got rid of them.
Ben, otoh, inherited his father's inability to discard even a single scrap of paper. It drives me bonkers.
