This morning, I went out in the rain to acquire hoses for the new washer which was being delivered today. It's a good thing I'm lazy and left them in their packaging, because the washer came with hoses. The guy at the store said it wouldn't. >:[ So someone gets to return them.
But I have a shiny, new front-loading washer with fancy buttons and more settings than I'll ever use. And this was the low-end one!
On the writing front, I got 316 net words today, for a total of 76,369. I think it's fair to say that my first draft is a detailed outline, then in revisions, we get descriptions and exposition and internal monologues.
And I'm stuck on a good translation for gemütlich. It means comfortable, homey, cozy, and warm. Argh. Right now I have cozy (the cozy beer garden). We'll see what that ends up as.
