So, I got some work in today, despite suddenly getting really sleepy. I ended up net negative, because I cut some words and deleted an entire scene (it was redundant). I'm back down to 69,600 words. At some point I'll start actually gaining words, and eventually hit 90k.
I begin to hate this story and think it's stupid and no one's going to want to read it. I understand that's fairly normal, so I'll keep slogging. I may get to the end and decide it's destined for the trunk for a couple years, but it's still all I have to use for a VP application. Unfortunately.
