No caffeine yet. The dr might find me some sort of something (I'm okay with like 1/4 cup of black tea, which'll be enough to take the edge off), because they won't let me have Coke on account of it's not clear, and no coffee, either.

He says I should reduce or stop my Synthroid (right after I picked up 90 days' worth, of course) because my free T4 is high and my TSH was 0.66 in their lab (when I last went to my dr it was 1.5), because that can cause some of the symptoms.

I had lunch: veggie broth with tiny bits of veggies (onions, I think), jello, and a cherry Italian ice. It has not yet made a repeat appearance, unless you count pissing like a racehorse. No longer true. I need to let my nurse know. (It was right after the dr left. Of course. Which was right before I started writing this.)

They think it might be IBS? That would make me sad, but less sad than celiac would make me. But we need to restore the flora, etc.

Fuck, my head hurts. Ooh, they're bringing me tea.

Could it be Crohn's?

You could see if Kirinn could find Jolt White Lighting (fake-grape flavor), which is clear. Big Red is close to clear (pale), you might be able to find a caffeinated cream soda, too. Or just get caffeine pills.

Highly unlikely: no blood, other symptoms don't match.

I got tea, but it turned out to be decaf. -_- My nurse is trying to get Nutrition to send caffeinated tea bags.

GI problems are such a fucking pain in the ass (pun relevant but not intended). They knock you flat, but they have so many similar symptoms that it's hard to distinguish, at lead on the ones that can't be tested with blood.

I've had GI issues for almost two years now, and I've never bothered to go to the hospital, but I hope that they figure out what the problem is, and that its treatment isn't too bad.

I am amazed you can handle digesting onions in your state. Unless onions get liquefied? I cannot manage the fuckers.

They were tiny onion slivers, as opposed to onion chunks. Or maybe it was celery. I have no idea.

But I can eat real food again o thank god.

I've had problems for a while now, too, but this is the first time I got to the point where I couldn't EAT anything for days, and where I was seriously dehydrated. (I got IV dextrose at one point, because I had ketones in my urine.)

Hopefully the specialist will have an idea.
