So, last night while Ben was washing the dishes, the handle on the faucet broke off in his hand. As a temporary stop-gap measure, he affixed a set of pliers to the remaining bit, so we can still use the sink.
I got to go to the fixture showroom today and pick out a new set. This should be appearing on my doorstep tomorrow. (And, including tax and shipping, I paid less at the showroom than the website lists. Ha.) Then Ben gets to attempt to install it tomorrow evening. We've lived here just over 9 years, so it shouldn't be too surprising that shit's starting to break down.
The joys of home ownership, I suppose.
