it's probably a bit late to suggest REI, but I'm sure they have collapsible cups there. they have everything *else* necessary for travel.
I'm sure you'll be able to make friends. worst comes, try joining the school's gaming or anime clubs, or some other geeky group. and with the park, I'm sure you'll be able to find an at least semi-excluded area. but you should feel confident in your bad-assness. if people stop to stare, it will be because they are admiring your James Bond moves ;)
