3Cups often has some small items for lunch on Saturdays, and Great Harvest sells sandwiches now. They don't have much in terms of veg options but their bread is really tasty.
Also, you *can* get cheap lunch at Whole Foods if you're careful. The self-serve salad bar is much more expensive than the salad counter; just find something that looks good and is pretty cheap per pound, get a small container of it, and add a roll or yogurt or something and you're good to go. You can stay under five bucks that way.
