Apparently it's not up tomorrow, but next Friday.

Plus side: I get paid for another 24 hours of work.
Minus side: I have to spend 33 hours to do this (1.5 hrs drive each day, plus 9 hours at job (1 hr lunch) = approx 11 hrs/day for 8 hrs pay.)

I WANT TO EDIT MY FUCKING NOVEL GODDAMMITALLTOHELL.

Also, hello? Spring? Any time now, please.

Ehh that sucks, but more money = good for trip! And you seem to have a good pace in editing on your work even when you have to work during the day. You can dooo it!

I'd PLANNED to have it to a completed first draft by now, assuming I'd have full time to work on it so far. I really /really/ need to get it to that stage before I go to Germany, so I can have it to beta readers while I'm gone (6 weeks seems like a fair enough turn-around time for what I'm looking for. ie, not a line edit.)

I'm extremely frustrated, because I need to be preparing for this trip -- figuring out what I need to take, practicing German, booking hotels in Vienna etc -- and I'd planned to have April relatively free. Now it looks increasingly unlikely that I'll have a chance to get any serious German practice in before I go.
