Thanks to the minor emergency with my cat this morning and the resulting spot of panic, I wasn't terribly productive. I'm also still emailing back and forth with a guy I know who was in the military to make my mercenary troop more believable. This is kind of incredibly awesome.
It means, however, I have to change a few things in the beginning. Which is OK, because I'm still *at* the beginning, mostly. And I'm kind of stuck at reworking the earliest bits until we get the company all hammered out. Progress is sort of hampered until then. And the scenes I'm scrapping are scenes I didn't like much to begin with, so the rewrite will make it better. Also, poor Michael, written out of importance. Or at least out of viewpoint... he's getting a fun role of "hey, are these guys *really* aid workers?"
I need to re-title/tag this thing, since the Donau isn't as important as in the original. Hrm.
Tomorrow I need to write 3 fanfics (at least). Fortunately I'll be home alone most of the day, since Ben's going to the state fair with some other folks. Sunday I'm going to the Renaissance Festival.
Anyway: I've been exhausted all week. Had trouble sleeping a couple nights, I guess. But it's the weekend and I get to sleep in some tomorrow. Yey.
