I have a setting idea, but no real characters or story. And I don't want to spend an entire short story (alternate history) describing a battle. That's not interesting to most people.

Of course, I'm kind of buzzed from my 10% ABV beer with dinner, and that's not helping atall.
I need a plot argh this is annoying. I have general plot ideas for things that need to be finished LATER than the one I'm working on right now. Ugh.
