Progress report
29 Nov 2010 07:25 pmA 5-day no-writing period makes it hard to get back into the swing of things, but I eventually managed to get 640 words and a rough draft of the beginning of Ch 5 Sc 3. I have another few hundred words to finish the scene, then I have to go back and make it suck less.
Rough drafts of scenes are mostly summaries, where I get down the main action and some dialogue and narrative/exposition, then I go back and expand things.
I have about 5 weeks left to finish these revisions. It looks impossible, but I'm going to have to force myself to work harder and goof off less. This may include working on *gasp* weekends some. Hopefully these new medications will keep me from being useless 2-4 days a month.
