Betas!

Have you finished reading & critting my novel? I've gotten 2 back, and they're polar opposite on most aspects, so I'd really like at least one more to balance it out.

If you received mine (not sure, as I didn't hear back), you can take it with a grain of salt, considering my background, the type of fiction you want this to be, and the type of fiction I write. If your other beta is more a reader of the type of fiction you want to write, give them more credence. I am, and always will be, more drawn to character-driven works, and it will always show in my feedback.

A critique is, in the end, just an opinion.

I have had a much crazier couple of months than I expected, so I am not finished yet, but I *AM* working on it, and will do my bets to speed things up.

Sorry, I've been a bit busy. (work has turned out to be a bit more hectic than I was planning on it during this past month or so).

I have been reading it. Hopefully, I will have some criticism for you soon.

I know my husband has finished reading and has been composing an e-mail with criticism/comment on the story. (I thought he sent it but maybe not?) I will ask him about it tonight.
