Day 7 - Favorite Gundam

I assume this means the mech, since there's a favorite series later on.

You think I'd say RX-78GP02A Physalis, but you'd be wrong. It's unwieldy and kind of slow.

The first Gundam I dug liek whoa was the XXXG-01D2 Deathscythe Hell and the Custom version of it (which I built a model or two of). I still have a soft spot for the Wing mechs, including Epyon (which I hate in Musou 1; it has no range!)

GAT-X303 Aegis is a successor to Epyon, and I have a kit of it upstairs I think.

For cool names, though, GFAS-X1 Destroy and GAT-X252 Forbidden get my vote.

Where are you getting this meme from, I like it!

(IMHO, the Wing mecha are probably the prettiest Gundams in the franchise and some of the best-designed, too, especially in their Endless Waltz incarnations; several of those Gundams could easily be my favorite but, hilariously, none of them are.)

It's really hard to pick a favorite anything! I have a couple favorites for each series I've seen...

Probably the Zeta, though I really like the Turn A's design and the silly antics it's forced through.

Also give props to the Kapool from Turn A (it's like a giant Haro), the Deathscythe Hell (for just being badass looking), and the RX-78 homage that appears at the end of Gundam 00 simply for perfect execution.

If we're allowing G-Gundam, then special shout out to Master Asia's horse's Gundam. Because it's piloted by a spandex-wearing horse. Yeah.

The horse Gundam! That's awesome. I like G, but I never think about it in terms of the mechs.

Zeta's probably my favorite to play in Musou 1, though I was thinking more about appearance than playability.

Oh, me too. I like how you can tell it has jet pieces when it isn't in waverider mode. It's the same thing I like about Macross/Valkyries.
