Gundam meme: day 6

Day 6 - Most annoying Gundam character

How to narrow this one down? Amuro's a whiny little shit, Shinn's a whiny little shit who thinks he's a badass, I want to kick Scirocco in the nuts (and the only Z I've seen is from Gundam Musou), Kiki in the 08th MS Team is an irritating shit, Monsha is a lecherous ass. Who am I missing?

I can't choose just one!

Most of the characters I'd mention would be spoilers, so I'll just say that I really couldn't stand most of the cast of Victory Gundam. I also hate the orphans in pretty much every show that has them, as their role tends to be "fill up screen time and keep the female characters busy." There are some characters in Turn A that I really hated, but a dozen episodes of character development went a long way and ultimately they weren't so bad.

Finally, I'd have to say Char's Counterattack Char on the grounds that he's the most horrible character derailment ever.

Actually they're mainly from Z and Victory. Gundam X characters weren't ever that annoying (though some were certainly flat) and I didn't get that much hate for anyone in the Seed series. I got close with season 2 Kira, but that was more a sign of how badly handled the second season was than him in particular. The guy Cagalli almost married sucked, but we were supposed to hate him, so it worked out. Beecha from ZZ was really annoying, but I imagine you got that impression while playing the game. Other than that, I really didn't like Saisaishi (or whatever the Neo China pilot from G-Gundam's name was), though that's because I generally hate the little kid characters.

The most frustrating characters overall were probably the town people in early Turn A. They were the obligatory "must generate conflict through stupidity" lot for a while, as Turn A's factions didn't want war on either side and the story needed conflict. A whole lot of misunderstandings, extreme overreactions, and one-sided aggression made early Turn A rough, but it still more than makes up for it once character growth kicks in.
