Today's word count: 1759 (plus a 330-word fanfic)
Total word count: 29641

Tomorrow I'll cross 30,000. A milestone, indeed! However, I've just about reached the end of the plot, and I'm not sure this will end up being more than 45000 words in 0th draft form. But, as I've said before, there are a lot of placeholders for fleshed-out scenes and places where I can add scenes, and a lot of places where I need to add description. Whether I'll be able to add another 45k words remains to be seen.

I just wanted to say I'm glad you post these updates. I recently read a book on how to get writing done and it makes the point that reliable daily/weekly progress is the real key, even if it comes in smaller chunks. Your progress attests to that: fifteen hundred or so words per session sounds manageable; thirty thousand sounds like a mountain. That's awesome.
