Ooh, I didn't know that. I don't expect my mom will have much debt (beyond whatever medical and funeral expenses she gets at the end), and her house will be paid off in a few years. Depending on where property values in WV go in the next 30ish years, and her final expenses, I may get some fraction of the proceeds of the home sale. I'm certainly not counting on it.
