Yes, it's pointing both directions. I've never seen a "no parking between signs" sign that DIDN'T say "no parking between signs." If it had, I'd have looked for the OTHER SIGN. What I thought it meant was no parking between here and this curb cut/driveway.

Seriously, the downtown commission is all "HOW do we get out-of-towners to come spend money here???" and the fake-hippies are all "take away parking and 'encourage' public transportation!" But there aren't good buses between not-Chapel-Hill/Carrboro and Chapel Hill/Carrboro, and buses from not-student-housing-areas to anywhere SUCK ASS.

Fucking fauxgressive elitist assholes. They don't REALLY want non-downtowners to come to their town. They want Those People to stay away.
