I haven't read the comments, but I avoid them. Comment threads on blogs are cesspools.

If the movie weren't whitewashed, or hadn't had the soul sucked out of it by people who clearly don't understand the point of the story or any of the characters, I'd be dragging everyone I knew to see it.
