The first half of GER:GHA was exciting, even if it was strong defense vs an offense that couldn't get through. Özil hit a beautiful goal partway through the second half. It sailed right past a block of people (from both teams) and the Ghanaian goalie. It was a lucky shot.

Next up: England in the Round of 16 on Sunday. Let's kick some ass (or arse)!

Well, it should be interesting. Ghana has a suspect offense, and the US has a suspect defense. In any event, I'll be watching.

Me too. I've watched close to all the games so far (though not the simultaneous ones), because I love watching soccer, and I can only do it every four years. Boo.
