It's kind of sad that we're talking about 60 degrees as if it's horribly cold! It's just been so warm here lately, and I'm totally acclimated.
I'm sure there are more people in the class, so I hope we get a nice friendly environment going, even if it's just "hey, let's all go have some beer/catch a movie tonight." (There won't be gaming clubs afaik, but there's a really active couchsurfing group. They're going to see the abandoned Iraq embassy Sunday at noon, which sounds so cool, but I won't be able to go.) My flatmate seems nice, so I hope we get along. I'm thinking of picking up a tube of Moravian cookies at the Southern Season at the airport as a hostess gift. (There's one in Terminal 2, I hope... Damn, no, just terminal 1. I'll have to come up with something else.)
