(Though one issue I remember people having was Denise's involvement with LJAbuse, and a few resolutions they didn't like. But it's not like she set the policy, you know?)

I think I know what you're getting at. It's a sort of community feeling, with an understanding of what it means to squee, and that makes a difference.
