Yeah, but how much does parking in College Park/on campus cost? UNC is absurd, so I can only assume UMCP is ludicrous. The CP Metro station isn't exactly close to campus (according to GMaps), either. Then factor in time, gas money, Metro fares (at peak times)... is it saving anything at that point? (I don't know, honestly. I suppose I could ask my sister, who lived outside the Beltway for a while, then in DC close enough to walk to work, and now is back in Maryland and commuting to Dupont Circle again.)

Hmm, it's actually not that bad for commuter students, but it's a lottery system? Or first come first served, probably.
